Here's some photos of the install on my truck. I used a 1/2 stainless tee I had laying around and some compression fittings I got from the local Lowes. No ferrel fittings or flairing involved.
The 2 fittings needed are
Watts A-221 1/2" x 1/2" Tube w/insert MIP connector (yellow bag)
They were in the drawers in the plumbing dept.
